考點二 限定詞
不可數名詞的限定詞和不可數名詞原形連用, 下面這些限定詞后面一定跟不可數名詞：
much, a large amount of, a great deal of, a wealth of(大量的、豐富的)
little /a little /less /least, a piece /sheet /slice /bar of, 屬不可數名詞專用
例題：
(1)
Because they are generally taken simply to obtain a recognizable and relatively clear image, most nonprofessional photographs demand few equipment.
應改為：little.
解釋：equipment是不可數名詞, 不能用few修飾, 應改為和其對應的little
(2)
Data received from two spacecraft indicate that there is many evidence that huge thunderstorms are now occurring around the equator of the planet Saturn.
應改為：much evidence
解釋：many是復數名詞的限定詞，而evidence是不可數名詞，應用much作限定詞
另外一些詞(詞組)如such, some /any (of), most (of), a lot of, lots of, the rest of, plenty of等既可接可數名詞又可接不可數名詞。
例如：
a lot of students , a lot of money
the rest of the students, the rest of money
Pansies can be cultivated easily in home gardens, but they require plenty of water and not too much sun.
