　　1. ban----prohibit， “禁止”

　　ban n 禁止;禁令

　　abandon v 拋棄，放棄,放縱

　　例句：

　　1)“放棄”，abandon one’s ideas放棄某人的想法

　　“拋棄”，如abandon one’s wife拋棄某人的妻子

　　2)The EU is faced with so many problems that some of its member countries plan to abandoneuro. (真題 英語二 2011, Text 4, 36題C選項)歐盟面對如此多的問題，乃至一些成員國計劃放棄歐元。

　　2.bas,base-----low, foundation, “低下，基礎”

　　debase v 降低

　　例句：
