考研英語長難句中的狀語從句輔導

    在英語中，提到狀語從句，我們就會想起許許多多的連詞和好多種類的狀語。確實，九大狀語從句在英語這只隊伍里算是比較龐大的分支了。但是知識點和考點設置相對而言并不難，考生只需要牢記九大狀語從句的關系詞和個別狀語從句引導詞的特殊性就可以應對長難句中的狀語從句。以下就簡單說說考研英語中各個狀語從句中關系詞使用時要注意的事項。

    1. 時間狀語從句：通常由before，when，while，until這四個連詞引導，難度為中等。

    2. 地點狀語從句：通常由where引導，也可由wherever，anywhere，和everywhere引導，難度比較低，故不詳細介紹。

    3. 原因狀語從句：難度中，常用because，for，as， since，其中because考地比較多，其次考研試題中經常出現in that復合連詞表原因，尤其是在閱讀理解的題干中，考查原因細節題一般都用in that……

    4. 目的狀語從句：難度中，常用連詞有so that，in order that，和that，從句中常含有情態動詞。其他引導詞有lest， for fear that，in case，譯為“以防，以免”從句謂語要用虛擬語氣should+do，一般省略should.

    5. 結果狀語從句：難度中，常用連詞有so…that， such…。that.so后接形容詞或副詞，分詞，such后接名詞。這里要注意so或者such至于句首要倒裝。當然還有其他一些引導詞to the extent that， to the degree that.

    6. 條件狀語從句：難度高，常用連詞有if ，unless，其中 only if和if only是考察重點，還有一些諸如as long as，provided，so long as，suppose that等可以引導條件從句。

    7. 讓步狀語從句：難度高，常用連詞有although，even though，though，even if，while，no matter +w/h， as但也有很多介詞和副詞表示讓步的意思，如：despite是比較常見的一個，還有though做副詞的用法，however，nevertheless這些副詞在考題中比較常見。其中也要注意as引導讓步狀語從句要倒裝。

    8. 比較狀語從句：難度高，由as，than， the more…the more，just as，no more than，not…so much as…等連詞引導。

    9. 方式狀語從句：難度中，as，like，as if，as though，the way等引導，難度低，所以不詳解。

    以下舉幾個狀語從句的例子：

    例1： 「真題例句」On the other， it links these concepts to everyday realities in a manner which is parallel to the links journalists forge on a daily basis as they cover and comment on the news. （2007-47）

    「結構分析」本句主句it links these concepts to everyday realities…，介詞短語in a manner 作方式狀語，后面which引導的定語從句修飾manner.關系代詞which在從句中作主語。在此從句中，又包含as引導的方式狀語從句as they cover and comment on the news.

    「參考譯文」另一方面，這一學科把這些概念結合到日常生活中，這與新聞記者每天報道和評論新聞時的做法是相同的。

    例2： 「真題例句」A lateral move that hurt my pride and blocked my professional progress prompted me to abandon my relatively high profile career although， in the manner of a disgraced government minister， I covered my exit by claiming "I wanted to spend more time with my family".（2001閱讀5）

    「結構分析」本句主語為A lateral move（一次平級調動，move作名詞），that引導限制性定語從句that hurt my pride and blocked my professional progress修飾先行詞move.謂語部分從prompted開始直到比較后。其中包含了although引導的讓步狀語從句，并被方式狀語in the manner of a disgraced government minister分隔。句末的by claiming "I wanted to spend more time with my family"也作covered的狀語，說明covered的方式。

    由此可見，我們的狀語從句并不是特別難，知識幾個狀語從句一起 出現，或者和其他從句或者語法現象一起出現時比較苦惱。在此，就需要大家將每一種句型都了解地更加清晰透徹了。
