4、注意詞語的正確用法及辨析。
如：prefer sth / doing to sth / doing(喜歡…不喜歡…) prefer to do sth (喜歡做…)
prefer to do sth rather than do sth (喜歡做…不喜歡做…) prefer sb to do sth (想要某人做某事)
be used to sth./doing…(習慣于做某事) used to do…(曾經常做某事)
5、注意一詞多義。
如：change (v.改變，n.變化;零錢)
in good order (順序)，order one’s lunch (點菜) order the machines (定貨)，order sb to do sth. (命令)
6、注意句法的一般規律及其特殊點。
如：He is cleaning the table now.
The train is coming .
She is always thinking of herself
句法基本按單元分布傳授，每單元結束后可在筆記本上進行一次小結，這種整理、復習和積累是很必要的。
