Every week hundreds of CVs （簡歷） land on our desks.

We’ve seen it all： CVs printed on pink paper， CVs that are 10

pages long and CVs with silly mistakes in first paragraph. A ___1___

解析：表示“第幾”時，在序數詞前面要加上定冠詞the。但是如果把名詞paragraph，lesson等詞放在基數詞前則不需加定冠詞，例如lesson one等

根據上文的badly presented及下文的reject，可以發現意思是相反的。

avoid后面要用V-ing形式。類似的動詞還有practise、resist、delay等，后面接的動詞也要用ing形式。

5. upon -%26gt; for

reason應該與for搭配。

6. will后加not

本句意思是：讓別人幫你檢查拼寫和語法錯誤，因為拼寫檢查器不會檢查出每一個錯誤。

7. listing -%26gt; list

這里的list與restrict是并列的，是祈使句，所以要用動詞原形。

8. up -%26gt; /

Keep up表示“堅持、維持”；keep表示“保持”，可以在后面加上賓語及其補足語。

9. taking -%26gt; taken

在此擔當的是定語，該動詞修飾前面的one （photo），而one與該動詞應該是被動關系，the photo is taken.
