We have all seen the performance review reports, but I would like to discuss in detail our human resource's agenda. C: to get to the bottom of the issue, our problem with human resources is a lack of qualified applicants, as well as not enough incentives to current employees. I recommend management training for our executive staff. A: I'm sorry, I don't think I understand. Can you please elaborate?

    tax incentives to encourage savings 鼓勵儲蓄的稅收措施There is no incentive for people to save fuel. 沒有使人們節(jié)約燃料的鼓勵辦法。Elaborate: to explain or describe something in a more detailed way 詳盡闡述;詳細描述 ~ (on/upon sth)

    He said he was resigning but did not elaborate on his reasons. 他說他準備辭職但未詳細說明原因。 V She went on to elaborate her argument. 她進而詳盡闡述了她的論點。

    Multiple: many in number; involving many different people or things 數(shù)量多的;多種多樣的 only before noun multiple copies of documents 各種文件的大量的副本a multiple entry visa 多次入境簽證to suffer multiple injuries(= in many different places in the body) 多處受傷a multiple birth(= several babies born to a mother at one time) 多胎產(chǎn)a multiple pile-up(= a crash involving many vehicles) 連環(huán)車禍a house in multiple ownership/occupancy(= owned/occupied by several different people or families) 多戶所有/使用的房屋
