《權利的游戲》第二季：女巫、皇弟來助陣

Game of Thrones continues to fill out its cast for Season 2.今夏大熱美劇《權利的游戲》繼續為明年的第二季擴充演員。

British actor Stephen Dillane， who portrayed Thomas Jefferson in HBO's John Adams， will play Stannis， Entertainment Weekly reports. Stannis is the stern， no-nonsense brother of the former hard-partying King Robert Baratheon （Mark Addy）。

《娛樂周刊》報道，曾在美國HBO電視網美劇《約翰。亞當斯》中扮演托馬斯。杰斐遜的英國男演員Stephen Dillane將會在《權利的游戲》第二季中扮演Stannis.Stannis其實是在第一季中死掉的Robert國王的兄弟。

King Robert was killed by a wild boar while hunting in the sixth episode of Season 1 — a loss that eventually led to the War of the Five Kings. Stannis believes he is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne now that his older brother is out of the picture.在《權利的游戲：冰與火之歌》第一季第六集中，Robert國王在打獵的時候被野豬所傷最后死亡——他的死也是五大國開戰的導火線。Stannis認為哥哥Robert過往死了，自己就是鐵王座的合法繼承人。

In the books， Stannis is counseled by a powerful woman during his quest to claim the throne. This powerful woman， a mysterious sorceress named Melisandre， will be played by Dutch actress Carice van Houten （Valkyrie）。

在《權利的游戲》書中，Stannis爭奪王位的過程中一直有一位法力高強的女巫扶持，而這個女巫就是Melisandre，這個角色將會由荷蘭女演員Carice van Houten扮演。

In casting breakdowns for the role， Melisandre is described as a very seductive woman and — spoiler alert！ — an eventual lover of Stannis. She has prophetic powers and can control dark forces and does everything in her power to impose her religion and beliefs on the world， and is a serious threat to anyone who tries to get in her way. Melisandre這個角色相當有魅力——隨著劇情的發展Melisandre將會愛上Stannis.Melisandre身為女巫擁有預言的能力，而且還能夠控制黑暗力量征服所有人。相信她如此強大的魔力對于那些阻礙她目的達成的人們來說會是相當大的威脅。

Game of Thrones is set to return next year on HBO.《權利的游戲》第二季將會在明年回歸HBO電視網。
