這篇文章與其說是一則報告，不如說是一個有點承諾和保證性質的宣言（statement）。一個醫藥公司，在各種不利因素下，怎么克服困難，實現預定目標。
21題，要做對這題得從全文來看。上面已經說了，這篇文章不是簡單的報告，主席在會上對眾人表態：公司要繼續增長，然后實現預期目標。相當于是承諾書和保證書。這句里有個詞很關鍵：resolve，決心、決定的意思。把保證書出版出來，彰顯我們的決心。所以這空用commitment。不選A，warranty是合同里的保證書，專業術語，保險里的保單、保證。
22題，很高興的向各位報告我們達到了預期的目的。用report。inform和notify都是通知，在這里意思不對。原本就是在做報告，不是通知。
23題，set out to do，開始著手時，出發時要做的事。set aside，把什么放置一旁，不予理會；set up，創建。
24題，銷售和收益分別取得了4%和6%的增長。用respectively，表示分別的，各自的。serially是連續的，一系列的；consecutively是連續的，連貫的；sequentially是按次序的，相繼的。
25題，理解了意思容易選。是說專利到期后有巨額虧損。用following，表示considerable losses是跟隨在專利到期后的。B不對，除非是用resulted from。
26題，也要理解前后文意思。這一句就是說在多方利好條件下，公司將實現終極目標（deliver the final part our target，話說deliver這個動詞用的有看頭）。26空就是關于5個新發布的產品的，該產品也會對最終的目標做出貢獻，用contribution，捐贈、投資和補貼，都不吻合這里的意思。
27題，以兩位數在增長。英文里兩位數的說法是double figures，美語是double digits:：the numbers from 10 to 99。
28題，這是地道的報告中的套話。“我相信，通過。。。。的努力，公司能夠保持強勁的增長，使我們能保持在行業的最前端。”forefront，最前部。foreground是最突出的位置。
29題，科技的發展，經濟和社會的壓力，敦促我們行業產生了巨大的變革。四個詞的中文意思貌似都可以，但用法有區別。impel是推動某人做某事；urge是力勸，一般也和人有關；thrust是猛推，刺，看個例句：The tree thrusts its branches high.這棵樹的枝條伸得高高的。用force。
30題，respond to，對什么做出回應，固定用法。用meet的話不需要后面的to。
