世博實用口語：玩轉地鐵

　　作為一種現代化交通工具，地鐵在中國發展很快，現今中國幾個大城市都設有龐大的地鐵系統。
　　地鐵在英國稱為underground或tube，后者在口語中更為常用。美國則把地鐵稱為subway。
　　國外地鐵的計價方式不盡相同。有的地方只有一種票價(only one fare)，只要付車費，隨你走到哪里。而有的則要根據路程遠近計價(proportional fare)。
　　常用地鐵表達語：
　　Let's go to the World Expo Garden on a subway.
　　咱們乘地鐵去世博園吧。
　　You can get almost anywhere rather quickly on a subway.
　　你可以坐地鐵迅速到達任何地方。
　　Look, there're two empty seats over there.
　　看，那邊有兩個空位子。
　　At which platform is our train?
　　我們坐的那趟車停在哪個站臺？
　　Can we go direct or do we have to change?
　　我們能直達還是必須轉車？
　　Could you tell me how to go to the platform?
　　你能告訴我去站臺怎么走嗎？
　　Does the train stop at South Xizang Road?
　　請問列車在西藏南路站停嗎？
　　How frequent is this subway service?
　　這班地鐵多長時間來一次？
　　Which line do I take for the Art Gallery?

　　實用地鐵對話：　　A: Good! There's the information desk. How do we get the 70th Street, please?
　　A: 太好了，那里有個問訊處。請問我們怎樣能到第70街？
　　B: The Northern Line is what you want.
　　B: 你可以坐北線地鐵。
　　A: How much is it?
　　A: 票價多少？
　　B: It's two yuan.
　　B: 兩元。
　　A: Which way do we go for the Northern Line?
　　A: 我們怎樣去北線地鐵？
　　B: Just go through the No.8 ticket-barrier over there. A train will be in directly.
　　B: 從8號檢票口往前走，列車馬上就進站。
　　A: I appreciate it.
　　A: 非常感謝。
