在職GCT英語指導：態度語氣題

　　在職GCT英語閱讀態度語氣題目主要從作者文中描述事物所用到的形容詞，副詞，動詞等表達感情色彩的詞匯入手。當選項不能確定時，再回到原文中找關鍵詞。對這類題型，分清褒貶一般不難，是考生的必得分點。

　　作者寫作的語氣和寫作態度密切相關，兩者常常故將兩者放在一起講解。常見的問法有：

　　What is the author´s attitude toward…?

　　The author’s attitude towards…could be described as_______.

　　Which of the following best describes the author´s tone in this passage?

　　From the tone of the passage we know that the author is .

　　解此類題必須結合文體特色，文章的主旨和一些關鍵的句式或詞匯標志來確認答案。表現作者態度的句子特征有：

　　(1)直接陳述式(主語是談到的事、物)。

　　(2)使用評述性的副詞在其他人的話里面。

　　(3)他人的論述后面有連詞引出另外一種說法，見條。

　　(4)其他人的說法后面的括號里的內容。

　　常見的選項有：

　　arbitrary(武斷的)，doubtful (懷疑的)，prejudiced/biased(有偏見的)，concerned(關注的)，　critical(批評的)，supportive(支持的)，indifferent(漠不關心的)，sympathetic(同情的)，enthusiastic　(熱心的)，c utious 謹慎的)，o bjecti ve 客觀的)，s bjective 主觀的)，o pti mistic 樂觀的)，p essimistic　　(悲觀的)，negative(否定的;消極的)，positive(肯定的;積極的)，sarcastic(譏諷的)，ironical　(反語的;諷刺的)，supportive，suspici ous。

　　It´s no secret that many children would be healthier and happier with adoptive parents than with the　parents that nature dealt them. That´s especially true of children who remain in abusive homes because the　law blindly favors biological parents.
