33. neither…nor… 既不……也不……

    當連接兩個并列主語時，謂語動詞與鄰近的主語取得一致（就進一致原則）。例如：

    Neither we nor Jack knows him. 我們和杰克都不認識他。

    He neither knows nor cares what happened. 他對發生的事情不聞不問。

    34. not…until… 直到……才

    until后可跟名詞或從句，表示時間。例如：He didn‘t come until late in the evening.他直到晚上很遲才來。 He didn’t arrive until the game had begun. 直到比賽開始他才來。

    其中in可以省略，通常主語為“人”。例如：

    I spent five yuan on this book. 我在這本書上花了五元錢。
