    1. almost adv.幾乎

    We almost go to the park every day. 我們幾乎每天上公園。

    反義詞：always總是—never 從不

    He is never late for school. He is always on time.他上學(xué)從不遲到，
總是很準(zhǔn)時(shí)。

    3. other pron.另外人（或物），其他（或物）

    Kitty is always kind to others. 基蒂總是對(duì)他人很友好。

    兼類詞

    other 既作代詞，又作形容詞She always helps others.（代詞）

    She always helps other people.（形容詞）

    注意：代詞可以指代名詞，如：others = other people ；形容詞是用來(lái)修
飾名詞的，如：other people，other friend，other places

    Alice and Kitty always help each other. 愛(ài)麗絲和基蒂總是互相幫助。

    Don ‘t talk to each other now. 現(xiàn)在不要互相說(shuō)話。

    Language focus

    1. But she doesn‘t talk at all.但是他什么也不說(shuō)。

    （1 ）but 轉(zhuǎn)折連詞，“但是，可是”的意思

    （2 ）not … at all 用于否定句，表示“一點(diǎn)也不，完全不”；Not at all.
是“不用謝。”是一種禮貌用語(yǔ)。

    e.g. Thank you for your help. —Not at all.

    2. She sometimes watches TV.他有時(shí)看電視機(jī)。

    辨析sometimes ， sometime ， some time， some times

    （1 ）sometimes 有時(shí)

    e.g. He is sometimes late for school.

    （2 ）sometime指過(guò)去或?qū)��?lái)的某個(gè)時(shí)候

    e.g. I will visit you sometime next week.

    （3 ）some time 指一些時(shí)間

    time時(shí)間是不可數(shù)名詞。e.g. Please give me some time to do homework.

    （4 ）some times指一些次數(shù)或倍數(shù)，幾次或幾倍

    因?yàn)閠ime指次數(shù)，倍數(shù)時(shí)是可數(shù)名詞。e.g. I met Kitty some times last
week.
