　　eg:We see Ferris cut across the front lawn and enter into a house.

　　cut back 消減，降低

　　eg:Father lost his job last week,and my pin money was also cut back.

　　爸爸上個禮拜失業(yè)了，我的零花錢也減少了。

　　cut corners 1)走捷徑 2)省錢(或人力，時間等)

　　eg:Go this way,then we can cut coners.

　　走這條路，我們就能抄近路了。
