1、在遠(yuǎn)處，在盡頭。如：
The hospital is at the bottom of the street. 醫(yī)院在街的盡頭。
We grow vegetables at the bottom of our garden. 我們?cè)诨▓@的盡頭種蔬菜。
2、 在最后。如：
He is at the bottom of the class. 他在班上排名最后。
3、是……的根本原因。如：
Wine is at the bottom of his illness. 飲酒是他生病的根本原因。
